Headed back home

Playing back in your home state is always a warm feeling for a player to have when away at college. One player from the Sunshine State will take his skills back home next season to play. Read more about this player right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.
Darren Goodson had a very good freshman campaign at Pensacola State College in Pensacola, Fla. Goodson averaged 17.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game last season for the Pirates who play in the Panhandle Conference.

Goodson will now take his game back home to the State of Ohio and Kent State University. Goodson visited Kent State and Coastal Carolina University this fall before deciding on Kent State.
"I have followed the Kent State program since I was in high school. Coach Senderhoff and Coach Steinburg made me feel so comfortable with the situation and I knew it was the perfect fit for me," said Goodson.
