Headed down south
"Jimmie Duplessis is currently taking summer school classes at Southeastern Louisiana University" said former Independence Community College Assistant Coach Grant McMillan.
Duplessis, a third year player from New Orleans, LA will have two seasons to play for the Lions. Duplessis started his college career at Prairie View A&M before playing in the Jayhawk Conference this past season.

Duplessis helped the Pirates to a 21-11 season this past year. Duplessis averaged 11.5 ppg, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists while connecting on 48% (122-256) from the floor.
