Headed to the deuce

Romel Kemp is headed to Concord University in West Virginia according to Cowley College Assistant Coach Donnie Jackson. The 6-foot-7 combo forward will have two years to play for the NCAA D2 Lions and new head coach Kent McBride.

Kemp averaged 7.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this past season for the 25-8 Tigers. Kemp shot 52.5 percent (104-198) from the floor.
Kemp started his college career at South Plains College in West Texas after playing high school ball at Marion High School in Marion, S.C. "Romel is a very athletic player with a good knowledge of the game," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
