New Mexico Junior College Head Coach Chris Tifft informed JucoJunction today that Desmond Lee will be making a trip this coming weekend to St Charles, Mo. for Mullen's Top 100 JUCO Camp on the campus of Lindenwood University.
The shooting guard from Norfolk, Va. averaged 13.3 points and 3 rebounds per game last season for the 23-9 Thunderbirds. Lee signed with UTEP out of prep school while attending Heat Academy in Martinsville, Va.
Lee never actually stepped foot on the UTEP campus and just sat out the season after leaving Heat Academy.
Lee has received strong interest this spring from Colorado State, East Carolina, UAB and Coastal Carolina University according to Tifft. Lee shot 46 percent(133-289) from the floor this past season.
