"John Brown will play for Head coach Matt Graves at the University of South Alabama next season. John had a great two years for us here at Olney Central College" said Blue Knights Head Coach Mike Burris.
Brown, a Charlotte, NC native was a 1st Teal All Region 24 performer and 1st Team All GRAC player both seasons for the Blue Knights.

"John is a big-time athlete who worked really hard to improve his skill level during his two seasons" said Burris. Brown averaged 16.2 ppg, 6 rebounds and 2.2 assists this season. Brown finished his career with 843 points in 62 games played for the Blue Knights.
"John was runner-up to Player of the Year honors this season behind Harold McBride (Lake Land College). The Blue Knights finished the season at 18-16 and lost in the Region Championship to eventual 3rd place finisher Vincennes University.
