Heading west to recruit

One school in the Colonial Athletic Association decided to head west to get a player for next season from the junior college ranks. JucoJunction has the latest on which school did just that in this article right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
Hofstra University decided to head to the State of California to find a big man next season and they did just that in Tyrone Lyons. Lyons is currently a center at Los Angeles Trade Tech College.

Lyons averaged 5.9 points, 4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game last season for the Beavers. Lyons shot 52.6 percent (51-97) from the field on the season. The Pride look to add him to the current recruiting class and plan to sign Lyons next week during the early NCAA signing period.
Lyons is a Los Angeles, C.A. native that prepped at Crenshaw High School.
