Highland guard to Corpus Christi

Tim Green has inked with new head coach Perry Clark at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Green, the starting point guard this year for the Highland Cougars, will join up with some other players from Chicago next season and new assistant coach Billy Garrett. Garrett, before coaching in college, coached at Providence St. Mel High School in Chicago.
"I really think Tim will be better and better at the next level as long as he makes the commitment," said Highland head coach Pete Norman.
Green, from Chicago Simeon High School, played at in the past two national tourneys in Hutchinson for the Cougars. Tim averaged 11 ppg, 2.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists this past season. Green scored 590 career points in 69 games played at HCC.
