Highland prospect moving on

Highland Community College has been no stranger to going to the National Tourney in Hutchinson, KS this past decade under head coach Pete Norman. The Cougars finished in 7th place this past season after defeating Southwest Tennessee in the consolation bracket. JucoJunction found out today from assistant coach Ronnie Dean that one Cougar is heading west next season to play his college ball in this story.
Duro Bjegovic, (SO) 6-foot -7 (235) from Croatia, will play next season in the Big Sky Conference at Saramento State University according to coach Dean. Duro visited the Hornets campus this weekend and came away liking what he saw. Duro started his college career at Missouri State-West Plains last season. Bjegovic averaged 11.1 ppg and 5.9 rebounds this past season while shooting 58.6% (143-244) from the floor.
