Highlanders decide on future
Gordon State College duo Devonte Thornton and Denarious Lockhart will join forces next season at Dalton State College in Dalton, GA according to Highlanders Head Coach Izzy Ingle.
Dalton State College is a NAIA program and the Roadrunners are coached by Tony Ingle. Dalton State College is located in Dalton, GA near Atlanta.

Thornton started his college career at Florida Atlantic University before landing at the Barnesville, GA school this past season. Thornton averaged 18.9 ppg and 9.7 rebounds while shooting 59% (190-321) from the floor.
"Thornton is a slender sleek athlete who really excels in the open floor" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Lockhart started his career at Atlanta Metro College back in 2011-2012. Lockhart got eligible at the break for the Highlanders.
Lockhart averaged 13.3 ppg, 11.4 rebounds and 2.6 blocks this season. Lockhart helped
the Highlanders to a 18-13 season this year.
