"Thomas visited the University of Wyoming this past weekend and like what he saw in Laramie. Thomas will join former Genesis One teammate and fellow New York City native Afam Muojeke at Wyoming next season," said Garden City Community College Head coach Kris Baumann.
Manzano joins teammate Trevor Ottley who committed to Middle Tennessee State a few weeks back.
Manzano, a wing player, will have three years to play for the Cowboys if he takes care of his academics this season and graduates. Thomas enrolled at Garden City Community College back in January 2008. Manzano started off at Iowa Western Community College last fall but never played a game for the Reivers. Manzano will play his first college game at Garden City on November 4 versus McCook Community College of Nebraska. Manzano played at Genesis One Christian School in Mendenhall, MS and Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, MA before landing at the junior college level.
Thomas received strong interest from the Huskers of Nebraska before deciding on the Cowboys this weekend.
