Hobson finally will be a Lobo

The College of Eastern Utah is located in rural Price, UT. Head Chris Craig has the Golden Eagles off to a (4-0) start this season. Darrington Hobson has been part of the Golden Eagles team the past two seasons and he has already decided where he wants to move onto after this season. JucoJunction contacted coach Craig today on where Darrington will be headed next season.
Hobson, (SO) 6-foot-7 (205) from Las Vegas, NV, will be going to the University of New Mexico to play for the Lobos. Hobson signed with the Lobos out of Decatur Christian in Decatur, IL where he played his senior season of high school ball. Hobson is currently averaging 11.5 ppg in four games this season for the Golden Eagles.
Hobson averaged 17.2 ppg, 8.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists last season for the Golden Eagles. Hobson will be listed as the number three player in the country when the JucoJunction Top 200 list comes out very shortly.
