Hogs land JUCO forward

Arkansas gained a commitment from another forward on Thursday when Arlando Cook of Warner (Okla.) Connors State C.C. went public with his decision.
Cook, 6-9, 215, chose the Razorbacks over offers from Missouri, Memphis, Ole Miss, LSU, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and others. Cook initially committed to Nevada in September but reopened his recruitment last week. Iowa State was also heavily involved with the forward.

Cook, who was recruited by Arkansas assistant T.J. Cleveland, was last on Arkansas' campus for an unofficial visit on August 29.
As a freshman, the forward averaged 13.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2 blocks per game.
Cook's commitment gives the Razorbacks a total of four for the Class of 2016 as he joins Jaylen Barford, Daryl Macon and Adrio Bailey. Arkansas is expected to sign at least five in this year's class depending on what happens with some of its current players who are under suspension.
The Razorbacks hosted Macon and five-star guard Malik Monk on official visits last weekend.
