Hogues official visit locked in

The battle for a 2013 junior college forward could come down to Iowa State vs. Iowa.
Ottumwa (Iowa) Indian Hills wing Dustin Hogue is scheduled to take an official visit to Iowa State next weekend, after unofficially visiting ISU back in August. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound Yonkers (N.Y.) native is also being recruited by several others school, including the Cyclones' in-state rival.

"I've felt like it's been an Iowa State and Iowa deal recently," said Indian Hills head coach Barrett Peery on the recruiting battle to get a commitment from Hogue. "Those are the two schools that are most active on him right now."
Hogue averaged 11.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for Indian Hills last season. He also had or has offers from four other programs - Detroit, Iowa, Missouri, Texas Tech and Washington State. Coach Peery said Oklahoma State has also been showing interest of late in Hogue.
Iowa State already has a verbal commitment from one Indian Hills prospect for 2013 - power forward Richard Amardi.
