Pat Smith is now in charge at Moberly Area Community College. Smith returned to Moberly Area Community College this past summer after coaching at Trinity Valley Community College. Smith replaced Jay Spoonhour, who moved onto the head coaching position at Eastern Illinois University.
Greyhounds assistant coach Eric McCrary informed JucoJunction that combo forward Mike Anderson will journey to Charleston, Ill. and the campus of Eastern Illinois University. The Bloomfield, Conn. native played last season at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, Ill.
"Mike is a tough matchup at times with his versatility and his ability to knockdown the mid-range jumper" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Kwai Pearson is a point guard from the windy city of Chicago, Ill played last season at California State-Bakersfield. "Kwai is a very strong point guard and a pesky defender," said Swanson.
Kevin Jordan is a promising freshman post player from Peoria, Ill. Jordan should see plenty of playing time in the post this season for the Greyhounds.
TJ White will take a official visit to UMKC this weekend according to McCrary. White is a point guard from Kansas City, Mo.
