Hudson staying close to finish career

Monie Hudson just finished a great career at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, IL for the past two seasons for Falcons head coach Todd Franklin. The Falcons finished the season at 24-5 this and were 52-12 over the past two seasons with Hudson in the lineup. Monie decided today to sign a National of Intent for next year and JucoJunction has the latest on where he will be playing this fall in this article.
Hudson, (SO) 6-foot-0 (185) from Bowling Green, KY, will play at University of Evansville next season and head coach Marty Simmons. Hudson made the short drive over from Harrisburg, IL this past weekend for an official visit to the Purple Aces campus. Hudson, an all-region performer both years at the school, averaged 12.3 ppg and 4.6 assists this season for the Falcons.

"Monie is a great addition to the Purple Aces he really has a good feel for the game and can knock down shots," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Hudson is the second player from the Falcons this season to sign Division One, joining Austin Hill who will be a Illinois State Redbird next season. The two will collide next season during conference play.
JucoJunction will keep its eyes on the rest of the Falcons sophomores this spring when they decide on a future school. Mohamed Ntumba, (SO) 6-foot-7 from Congo, Africa, will need to go the D2/NAIA route. Mohamed averaged 13 ppg this past year for the Falcons.
