Huggins adds JUCO guard

West Virginia picked up a late addition to the 2014 recruiting class late Monday night when Jaysean Paige committed to the Mountaineers according to sources.
Paige, 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, originally signed with Southern Mississippi but was released from his letter of intent after the departure of Donnie Tyndall to Tennessee. Paige is originally from Faulker, NY, but played with Mobley Area C.C. this past season averaging over 21 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Paige spent his high school senior season in Kentucky and played at the College of Southern Idaho during his freshman season at the junior college level averaging around 14 points per game.
According to sources Paige visited Morgantown this week and gave a commitment to the program following the visit.
An athletic guard that hit just under 45-percent of his threes this past season, Paige fills a need for a shooter on the current Mountaineers roster. The junior college transfer joins fellow 2014 commitments Jevon Carter, Daxter Miles and Tarik Phillip in the backcourt as Bob Huggins continues to retool his roster for this upcoming season after the departure of several players notably starters Eron Harris and Terry Henderson.
Paige is rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com.
