Louisburg College is off to a 3-0 start this season after scoring 101,128 and 103 points in their victories. Kevin Williams is leading the way so far this season. Williams is 5-foot-7 guard from Franklinton, N.C. Williams is averaging 17.7 points per game.
Tyquan Roberts is a undersized post player who hails from nearby Greensboro, N.C. Roberts is averaging 13.7 points and 7 rebounds on the young season.
LaShawn Alexander is a rugged looking power forward with a great frame," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. "LaShawn plays with a great energy on the floor and has the ability to defend out on the perimeter."
Alexander has received early recruiting interest from UNC-Wilmington, North Carolina Central University and
Niagara according to Hurricanes Head Coach Mark Vanderslice.
Terance Christian is a left-handed forward that really doesn't have a position on the floor. "Terance has a tremendous motor and plays so much bigger than his listed height of 6-foot-2," said Swanson.
Paul Stone transferred into Louisburg College after playing his freshman season at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fla.
Stone signed with East Carolina University out of high school in Danville, Vir. Stone is currently averaging 8.7 points and 6.7 rebounds for the Hurricanes this season.
Stay tuned to JucoJunction all season long as the Hurricanes look to get back to Danville, Ill. and the NJCAA D2 National
Tourney this coming March.
