"Nate verballed to Weber State this week. He will sit out next year and play the following year. Nate really felt comfortable and assistant coach Eric Duft at Weber State was here at Hutch last season and recruited Nate out of high school," said Swanson.
Brumfield was a two-year starter for the Blue Dragons.
"Nate is a really athletic strong 3 man. He can step out and shoot the 17 footer," said Swanson. Brumfield averaged 17.4 ppg and 7.1 rebounds this season while shooting 60.7% (187-308) from the floor this season. The past two seasons at Hutchinson, Brumfield scored 900 career points and grabbed 384 rebounds in 60 games.
