Idaho State signs two

Idaho State University Head coach Joe O'Brien has to be smiling today. O'Brien and his Bengals received two letters of intent this morning from David Busma and Phyllip Taylor.
Busma, (SO) 6-foot-11 (240) from Lithuania, has played the past two years at Western Nebraska Community College. Busma played high school basketball at Statesville Christian (NC) with current Memphis guard Doneal Mack. Deividas averaged 9.1 ppg and 8.4 rebounds this season for the Cougars. Busma received attention from Rutgers and Nebraska this spring.

Taylor, (SO) 6-foot-3 (185) from Saginaw, MI, has played at Manatee Community College in Florida the past two seasons.
"Phyllip is a strong athletic small forward. He played really well at the Florida State JUCO tourney," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Taylor averaged 15 ppg this past season. Taylor visited the Pocatello campus this past weekend and walked away liking what he saw.
Idaho State now has signed four kids this spring; joining these players are Kal Bay and Felix Casperi. Bay and Casperi are teammates at the College of Eastern Utah.
