Illinois duo makes it official

John A. Logan College and Kaskaskia College collide every season at least two times in GRAC Conference play in Region 24 in Southern Illinois. JucoJunction found out the latest on two players from those teams who will move onto the Division One level next fall.
"Russell Moore has signed with University of Albany for next season," said University of Albany head coach Will Brown.

"I really like this kid he was overshadowed by his teammates this year," said Brown.
Moore, a shooting guard from New Orleans, received interest from Northwestern State and Sam Houston State before deciding on Albany. Moore will now join three other teammates in finding schools for next fall. Jesse Perry (Arizona), Lazeric Jones (UCLA) and Andre Clark (TCU) have all signed already. Moore averaged 6.5 ppg this season after averaging 12.3 ppg as a freshman for the Volunteers.
Nate Schulte will leave Kaskaskia College in Centralia, IL and play in the Ohio Valley Conference next fall. Schulte has signed with Southeast Missouri State University. Schulte, 6-foot-5 (210), started his college career at Arizona Western College back in 2007-2008. Schulte is a Las Vegas, NV native.
"Nate is a combo forward who can shoot it from mid-range. He is an ideal role player at the next level," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
