In Focus: Atlanta Metro College

Atlanta Metro College came back last season after a hiatus from basketball. Head coach Robert Pritchett is the leader of the Red-Eyed Panthers. JucoJunction had a chance to see the Red-Eyed Panthers last weekend at Kenn Littlefield's JUCO Jamboree in Macon,GA at Mercer University. Here is a closer look at the AMC roster.
Jeff Moon, (SO) 6-foot-6 (195) from Conyers, GA, is a third-year small forward. Jeff sat out at Roane State Community College in Tennessee back in 2006-2007. Jeff has the ability to play inside and out. He can hit the three ball in transition very well. Moon has received interest from Alabama State and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this fall.

David Brown, (SO) 6-foot-5 (190), is from College Park, GA. Brown attended Mundy Mill High School in the Atlanta area before heading off to AMC. Brown a small forward can really stroke the three ball and he is very versatile on the wing when it comes to handling the ball or rebounding it. David is very wide open in the recruiting process.
Andres Kilpatrick, (SO) 6-foot-6 (200) from Tallahassee, FL, is a left-handed wing player that played at Lurleen B Wallace CC in Alabama last season. Andres can really rebound the ball very well on both ends and needs to work on his perimeter skills.
The Red-Eyed Panthers look to make some noise this season in the Georgia Region. JucoJunction will keep you posted on how they end up doing in the process.
