Keith Dewitt will lead the Indians to Tulsa, OK and the campus of Oral Roberts University for the camp which starts on Friday. Dewitt a one-time Missouri signee joined the Indians back in January 2010 and played second semester last year for the Indians. Dewitt prepped at Charis Prep in Wilson, NC with teammate
Sam Grooms who made the trip to Tulsa,OK with Dewitt.
Grooms a point guard from Greensboro,NC averaged 7 ppg last season for the 19-9
Indians. "Sam is a strong guard who can really defend on the ball" said
JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Shamarr Bowden has landed in the junior college ranks after leaving the University of Charlotte. Bowden played last season in 15 games for Atlantic 10
Conference school where he averaged 5.7 ppg and scored 21 points versus UNC-Asheville. Bowden a shooting guard sat out the 2008-2009 season with a fractured kneecap. Bowden will be a third year player for the Indians this fall.
Will Ohuaregbe prepped at Fork Union Military before playing at UNC-Wilmington last season. Ohuaregbe from London, England played AAU ball with Grooms and Dewitt in the past. Ohuaregbe a power forward at 6-foot-8 averaged 4 ppg and 4.8 rebounds last season for the Seahawks. Ohuaregbe redshirted back in 2008-2009
for the Seahawks and will be a third year player for the Indians this fall.
Aaron Davis is back for his second season with the Indians this fall. Davis a power forward from Huntsville,AL averaged 6.1 ppg last season. Look for these five players to lead the Indians this season in the sophomore.
