Interest in Trice Picking Up

Roderick Trice, a very athletic 6-3, 170 pound shooting guard from Georgia Perimeter College in Decatur, Ga., has picked up some new suitors in the past few months.
Trice, who impressed JUCO Junction with his explosive athleticism and finishing ability at the NJCAA Tournament, is being eyeballed by Georgia, South Carolina, Evansville, Appalachian State, Middle Tennessee State, New Mexico State, Georgia Southern, New Orleans, East Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and the College of Charleston.

According to GPC Asst. Coach David Dennis, Trice is in summer school and on schedule to graduate next spring. He is getting ahead in the classroom by attending the summer session.
Trice, who hails from Swainsboro, Ga., averaged 12 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for the Jaguars in 2002-2003. He was a key offensive cog for a dangerous squad that finished 32-6 and placed fourth at the NJCAA Tournament.
If Trice can continue to get stronger and fine tune his decision making, he could turn into a high level Division I wing prospect. Right now, he projects as a solid mid-Division I recruiting target.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on Trice as well as other top sophomores in the JC Class of 2004. Stay tuned.
