Iowa Western Recruiting Update

A number of players from the Iowa Western program will be taking official visits this weekend (Sept. 26-28).
Iowa Western Asst. Coach John Jungers filled JUCO Junction in on the latest happenings with the Reiver program.

Jungers said that 6-2 athlete deluxe Nedu Onyeuku will officially visit Illinois State.
Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado and South Florida are among the other programs who expressed interest in Onyeuku this summer.
Luther Boyd, a husky 6-7, 240 pound power forward from University Park, Ill., is taking an official trip to Houston.
In addition to the Cougars, South Florida, Purdue, Illinois State and Loyola-Chicago have taken a look at the big bodied power forward.
Boyd acquitted himself quite well this past July at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Showcase in Tulsa, Okla. He's a capable scorer inside of 10 feet and has the type of frame that lusts for contact in the low post.
A third Iowa Western soph, 6-8, 220 pound power forward Ethan Shaw of Detroit, Mich., will officially visit the University of Detroit this weekend.
That's not a shocker, as Shaw committed to Detroit out of high school and reaffirmed that commitment heading into his sophomore campaign at Iowa Western.
In commitment news, freshman point guard Mose Howard recently announced for Missouri-Kansas City.
Born and bred in Detroit, Howard moved to Omaha, Neb., where he spent his high school years. The 5-11, 170 pound floor general is a full qualifier and will have three years of eligibility for the Kangaroos starting with the 2004-2005 basketball season.
