Jacksonville forward makes commitment
Sammy Jackson, (SO) 6-foot-5 (245), only needed one official visit to decide where he wanted to play his college basketball after this coming season at Jacksonville College in Texas.
Jackson has committed to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.

"Sammy took his visit this past weekend and really enjoyed it. The staff at Liberty did a great job of recruiting him and made him a priority all summer long," said Jacksonville College head coach Greg Young.
"Jackson is a 4/3 combo forward that's a tough, strong player and a hard matchup. Sammy has good perimeter skills and he is a very good character kid," said Young.
Sammy averaged 8.1 ppg and 5 rebounds last season for Jacksonville College.
