Jayhawk duo make decisions

Santwon Latunde and Bateko Francisco have made their college decisions for next season. Latunde from Cowley College has signed with California State Bakersfield while Francisco from Fort Scott Community College has signed with Robert Morris (PA).
Latunde, 6-foot-6 from Landover, MD, averaged 13 ppg and 8 rebounds this past season. The left-handed power forward should get some quality minutes for the Roadrunners next season.

"There's no question he'll be an impact player for us," said UCS-Bakersfield head coach Keith Brown. "He gives us physicality at that position that will be competitive with anyone we play."
East Tennessee State and Florida A&M also showed interest.
Francisco, (SO) 6-foot-1 from France, led the Jayhawk Conference in scoring this past season at 19.5 ppg and 5.5 rebounds. Bateko scored 37 points versus Labette this season back on March 3rd.
"Bateko is an explosive athlete who can score in a variety of ways," said Robert Morris head coach Mike Rice. "To get a player with his skill this late in the process was a good sign for our program, and Bateko will make an immediate impact."
