Jayhawk guard makes late decision

Some players decide early during the season to make a college decision after leaving junior college. Julius Hearn played this past year at Pratt Community College in Pratt,KS after transferring in from a Division One program. JucoJunction has the latest on where Hearn will play this coming fall in this story.
Hearn, a combo guard from Chicago, IL, will play at Texas Pan American next season. Julius contacted JucoJunction today to inform us of his decision. Hearn started his college career at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Julius played in 2006-2007 at Howard University in 30 games while averaging 4 ppg. Julius redshirted the following the year for the Bison.
Hearn averaged 10.1 ppg, 4 rebounds and 3.2 assists this past season for the 18-13 Beavers. Hearn received interest from Eastern Illinois University this past spring before deciding on UTPA. Hearn is the third Division One signee for the Beavers this season in joining Dernodo Eiland-TCU and Michael Tyler-UW-Milwaukee.
