Jegedes Recruitment Coming Along Slowly

Supo Jegede, the 6-8 transfer from the University of Wyoming, is enrolled for classes this fall at Lamar C.C. in Lamar, Colo.

Baumann said that Lamar, Boise State, UT-Chattanooga, New Mexico State and UNC-Greensboro have shown preliminary interest in Jegede.
A power/combo forward, Jegede's recruitment should continue to move along as his academic situation becomes clearer. In addition, many coaches will want to see Supo play duringh the 2003-2004 season. He attended the Mullen Camp in July.
According to Coach Baumann, Jegede needs roughly 41 hours by the end of next summer to graduate and leave Lamar with three years of eligibility.
If not, Jegede might have to return to Lamar for his sophomore year in 2004-2005. He red-shirted last year at Wyoming.
We'll keep you posted on Jegede's situation as the basketball season approaches. Stay tuned.
