Jets are flying high
Deriece Parks and Jade McLendon both took official visits this past weekend and walked away with commitments. Parks will head to Western Carolina and McLendon to Prairie View A&M next season" said South Georgia Tech Assistant Coach Chris Ballauer.
Parks, a Charlotte, NC native played last season at Barton Community College (KS). Parks averaged 7.8 ppg and 4.7 rebounds last season. Parks is a shooting guard. He played high school basketball at Olympic High.

McLendon, an All-Conference performer last season at Cowley College (KS) is a combo forward. McLendon averaged 7.8 ppg and 6.2 rebounds while connecting on 53% from the floor.

McLendon is originally a New Orleans, LA native and left after Hurricane Katrina.
