JUCO guard visiting this weekend

West Virginia will play its final regular season game of the year Saturday when Oklahoma State comes to town but the Mountaineers also will play host to an official visitor.
Williston (N.D.) Williston State C.C. guard Teyvon Myers will be arriving in Morgantown Friday for his first official visit to check out the basketball program and get a first-hand look at what to expect in Morgantown.

An elite scoring guard, the New York native has put together an outstanding season at his junior college averaging 25 points while shooting 45.4 percent from the floor to go along with 36.7 percent from three and 85.2 from the free throw line.
Myers also has chipped in with four rebounds and 3.4 assists over the course of his 30-game season.
And with West Virginia graduating two senior guards in Juwan Staten and Gary Browne, Myers could be an option to fill those vacancies.
West Virginia has ramped up their efforts recruiting Myers in recent weeks with the coaching staff taking a visit out to North Dakota to see him and the Mountaineers will get the first crack at Myers this weekend before the talented guard heads to Louisville for an official visit March 12.
Bob Huggins' program is one that interests Myers for several reasons.
"I think I fit the style of play there and I really like the coaching staff," he informed WVSports.com. "But I feel the same about Louisville."
On top of those programs Myers said he is working on setting up an official visit with ASU and is receiving interest from Clemson, Xavier, Utah, Creighton and Manhattan, among others.
West Virginia currently has Cleveland (Oh.) Shaker Heights forward Esa Ahmad and James "Beetle" Bolden signed in the class of 2015 with one open scholarship available.
WVSports.com will have more with Myers following the weekend.
