"K.J. Bluford has decided to attend Iowa State University for next season" said Northeast Community College Assistant Coach Adam Blaylock told JucoJunction today.

The sophomore from Plymouth, Minn., is currently averaging 18.2 points per game this season for the 15-11 Hawks.
Bluford has connected on 39 percent (104-269) from three-point range this season.
Bluford is ranked No. 64 in the 2013 JucoJunction Top 150. He joins fellow Cyclone recruits Dustin Hogue (No. 23), Richard Amardi (No. 67) and Daniel Edozie (No. 133) in next year's recruiting class.
Bluford recently joined the 1,000 point club and now has 1,020 points in his two seasons in Norfolk, N.E. This past season the Hawks left Region 9 (Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming) to join the Iowa Region.
Last season Bluford connected on 34 percent (92-274) from three-point range. He currently has hit 196 three-pointers in two seasons.
