Juco pair signs with Oral Roberts

Oral Roberts University didn't have to go to far to fill some needs for next season. The Golden Eagles, based in Tulsa, OK, headed up the road to Tonkawa, OK and Independence, KS to fill these holes. JucoJunction has the latest on these signings in this article.
Michael Craion, (SO) 6-foot-5 (205) wing player, averaged 17.5 ppg and 9 rebounds this season for the Pirates of Independence CC. The Pirates finsihed the year at (19-13) under then head coach Tommy DeSalme. DeSalme has moved on to Cowley College for next season.

"Michael is a very versatile player and can play different positions for the Golden Eagles," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Craion was a first-team All-Jayhawk Eastern Conference Selection this season. Michael scored in double figures in 29 games this season for the Pirates.
The Golden Eagles looked even closer for their next signing. The Golden Eagles landed 6-foot-10 (225) Javier Nasarre from Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa. Nasarre hails from Spain. The Mavericks center averaged 10.7 ppg and 4.3 rebounds this season while shooting 55% from the floor this past year.
