Northwest Florida State College Head Coach Steve Forbes informed JucoJunction today that Arthur Edwards has committed to play for the University of New Mexico Lobos this fall. Edwards will have three years for the Lobos.

Edwards prepped out of high school at St Thomas More in Connecticut under legendary head coach Jere Quinn. Edwards enrolled at Northwest Florida State College in January 2012.
Edwards averaged 8 points this season for the 30-4 Raiders. The Raiders finished the season in second place for the second straight year.
Lucas Stivrins has decided to leave the plains of Kansas after one season for the University of Nevada. The post player will have three years to play for the Wolfpack.
The freshman at Pratt Community College originally hails from Phoenix, Ariz. Strivins visited the Wolfpack this past weekend according to Beavers Head coach Jesse Shaw.
"Nevada has been recruiting him all season long and has been out here to Pratt like three different times," said Shaw. Strivins averaged 5.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game this year for the 15-16 Beavers.
