Kechan Myers makes his decision

Kechan Myers, 6-foot-0 (170) from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, will be heading to the Big Easy and Bourban Street next season. Kechan signed today with the University of New Orleans.
Myers, a sophomore from Philadelphia, PA, played his freshman season at Panola College in Texas.

"Kechan started every game for us this past season from the point guard position," said head coach Josh Newman.
Kechan averaged 15 ppg, 4.2 rebounds and 4 assists this season for Arkansas-Fort Smith. Myers was a 1st-Team All Conference and a 2nd-Team All-Region performer.
"Kechan had a prior relationship with Coach Monarch and he felt really comfortable the program at New Orleans," said Newman.
Scott Monarch, an assistant coach at New Orleans, coached Kechan last season at Panola. Albany and LaSalle also showed interest in him.
