Keith Ramsey makes his choice

The Missouri Tigers have filled their final available scholarship in the Class of 2008.
"I committed today," said Okaloosa-Walton forward Keith Ramsey.

Ramsey becomes the sixth member of the Tiger class, and perhaps the most highly regarded nationally. He was a first-team all-Panhandle Conference player for the Raiders a season ago.
"He's definitely a top ten player," said Bret Swanson, an analyst for JucoJunction. "He is one of the top junior college players in the country.
Ramsey visited Missouri, Arkansas and Middle Tennessee. The decision came down to the Tigers and Razorbacks.
"It was real tough. I really liked Arkansas and coach Pelphrey and it was a real hard decision," Ramsey said. "I liked everything at Missouri. From the coaching staff to the players to the facilities, I really liked it all."
Ramsey has known Tiger coach Mike Anderson since he was a high school player. Ramsey was an AAU teammate of NBA player Brandan Wright.
"He wants me to come in and be an impact guy," Ramsey said of his new coach. "He just wants me to do what I do best."
"Keith is a long athlete that is a very talented small forward," said Bret Swanson, an analyst for JucoJunction. "The left-handed Ramsey has good ball skills for his size and can knock down the 16 footer."
Ramsey said he will sign with Missouri in November.
