Kilgore still has more to offer

After Marcus Thornton's commitment, Kilgore College has three more players looking for schools next season. Head Coach Scott Schumacher caught up with JucoJunction to get the lowdown on his players' recruitment.
Brandon McThay: (SO) 5-foot-10 (175) from Deerfield Beach, FL. McThay played his freshman season at Lamar University.

"Brandon is hard-nosed kid. He really brings it everyday and comes to play," said Schumacher.
Brandon prepped out of high school at Fork Union Military in Virginia. Brandon averaged 8.1 ppg and 3.9 assists this season for the Rangers. Cleveland State, Belmont, Nicholls State, Lamar and Lynn University (FL) are showing interest in him. Brandon played in 21
games at Lamar as a freshman and averaged 4.5 ppg in 11 minutes a night.
Landrell Brewer: (SO) 6-foot-9 (238) from Bossier City, LA. Brewer is a big bodied five man for the Rangers.
"Landrell has good hands and nice footwork," said Schumacher.
Brewer averaged 8.5 ppg and 5.9 rebounds this season. He is receiving interest from Louisiana Tech, SE Louisiana, Southern University (LA) and Louisiana-Monroe.
Larry Handy: (SO) 6-foot-7 (270) from Houston, TX. The power forward played his freshman season at Lamar University.
"Larry is a good low post player on the block. He really does a good job of sealing," said
Schumacher.
Handy will visit Arkansas State - April 13-15. Southern University (LA) and UT-San Antonio are also keeping tabs on the post player. Larry averaged 11.7 ppg,6.1 rebounds this season while shooting 63.9% (151-236) from the floor. Handy just saw action in three
games at Lamar as a freshman.
