Knox heads to the SEC

Brendon Knox hails from Georgetown, SC, which located just south of Myrtle Beach about 30 miles. Knox will take his game and skills to the Southeastern Conference next season. JucoJunction has the latest on Knox in this story.
Knox, (SO) 6-foot-10 (225), will play at the University of Auburn next season. Brendon visited the Tigers campus a few weeks back. Knox averaged 12 ppg and 10 rebounds this season for the Spartanburg Methodist College Pioneers. The Pioneers are coached by Rob Burke, son of NBA scout Bob Burke (Portland Trailblazers).
"Brendon thought Auburn was the best place for him to attend school at next season," said
Nebraska, Winthrop, Tennessee Tech and Wichita State all showed interest in Knox this past spring. Brendon recorded 168 blocks over the past two seasons for the Pioneers.
