L.A. prospect signs early
JucoJunction had a chance to see Los Angeles Southwest College last month in Long Beach, CA at Gerry Freitas' So Cal Jamboree. Head coach Reggie Morris informed JucoJunction today that one of his players signed on the dotted line in the early signing period.
E.B. Davis, (SO) 6-foot-4, signed with Lamar University according to Morris. Davis played his freshman season at UT-San Antonio and transferred to the Cougars this past summer when his brother joined the LA Clippers. E.B.'s brother is NBA journeyman Ricky Davis who is now with the Clippers.
Davis, who was out with an injury last month when JucoJunction was in attendance at the So Cal Jamboree, is yet to play for the Cougars six games into this season.
