LA Trade Tech shows well in Azusa

The Gerry Freitas Hoop Review Jamboree started Monday at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA. JucoJunction was on hand for the action and saw a very surprising program in Los Angeles Trade Tech. Here is a report on some of LA Tech's top talent:
Robert Summers: (SO) 6-foot-5 from Gardena, CA. Summers started off at Graceland College in Lamoni, IA back in the fall 2004 playing football as a wide receiver. Robert has since returned to the Los Angeles area and will start classes this fall at LA Trade Tech. The combo forward has been playing in the Say No Pro Am League.

"Summers can really get to the basket and uses his size very well to create offense. Robert has good bounce and draws contact on both ends of the floor," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Nick Pacitti: (FR) 6-foot-5 from England.
"Nick is a brute inside the paint that plays very physical and really has a great knowledge of the game," said Swanson.
Pacitti is 22 years old and has played in the BBL (Budweiser Basketball League) in England. Pacitti is a academic qualifier with three years left to play after this season.
"The undersized post player has great hands and can knockdown the midrange jumper,"
said Swanson.
Rico Myles: (SO) 6-foot-8 from Los Angeles, CA. Myles averaged 9.9 ppg and 7.4 rebounds last season.
"Myles has a good body and is active on the floor. He just needs to work on his skill level some," said Swanson.
Imari Thomas: (SO) 6-foot-7 from Los Angeles, CA. The long armed Thomas averaged 8.2 ppg and 4.5 rebounds last season.
"Thomas really is quick off his feet. He plays inside 10 feet the whole game," said
Swanson.
