Lakers grab two

Tim Budd and Tyrone Black will both suit up for the Lakers of Clayton State University this coming fall. The Lakers are a NCAA D2 program in Georgia.

Budd has played the past seasons at Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, S.C. The native of Ladson, S.C. prepped in high school at Fort Dorchester High School.
Budd averaged 11.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this past season for the 19-11 Pioneers. Budd shot 59% from the floor. Budd played in Jerry Mullens 120 JUCO Camp the summer before in Tulsa, O.K.
Black, a power forward from Benton Harbor, M.I., played the past two seasons for the Reivers of Iowa Western Community College. Black was ranked in the JucoJunction Top 150 and had a very sub-par season.
"Tyrone really struggled this year with his game, he has the tools to turn it around for sure," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
