Lalor Lands in America East

Anthony Lalor, the 6-9 power forward/center from Westchester C.C. in Valhalla, N.Y., plans on enrolling at the University of Hartford in January.
Lalor played two years at Westchester for Head Coach Winston Nicholas, but couldn't enroll at a four-year school this fall due to some academic shortcomings.

In an interview last week, Coach Nicholas told us that he felt Lalor was headed to Hartford. In the days since, JUCO Junction has confirmed that Lalor will indeed be a Hawk.
A product of DeWitt Clinton H.S. in the Bronx, N.Y., Lalor had inked with George Washington University three years ago. But after failing to qualify academically, Lalor headed off to Westchester C.C.
Lalor will sit out at Hartford this spring, and should have two years of eligibility remaining with the Hawks beginning with the 2004-2005 college basketball season.
A mobile big man with a raw offensive skills, Lalor should give Hartford a rebounding and defensive presence in the paint.
