Let the games begin

Olney Central College doesn't want to have a season like last year. The Blue Knights finished last season at 9-23 under head coach Mike Burris. Burris is in his 11th year at the helm of the Blue Knights.
Steven Davis, Micah Bullock, Colton Irvin and Khalil Halls looked to be the sophomores the Blue Knights will find leadership from this season.

The Blue Knights will be tested right off the bat this weekend when they travel down to Vincennes, IN and play Motlow State College (TN) and Rock Valley College (IL) back to back nights.
Davis, a third year point guard, averaged 9 ppg last season for the Blue Knights. Davis started off at Indiana State University before transferring to OCC.
Bullock and Irvin both hail from small high school programs in Indiana. Halls, a third year player, was a former All-State player at Lake Marion High School in Santee, SC.
Daquan Lilly, Ajay Sanders, Austin Robertson and Gilwan Nelson are four freshmen on the roster that could see a good deal of minutes to start the season.
Lilly and Sanders are both academic qualifiers. Both players hail from the Tar Heel State.
The Blue Knights look to improve on a dismal season last season. The GRAC Conference consists of teams in Region 24 in Southern Illinois.
