The month of November will be a busy time for several Southwest Tennessee State Community College Saluquis to be signing National Letters of Intent for next fall.
Saluquis Head Coach Jerry Nichols took over the program this off season after a four year stint at conference rival Motlow State College. Nichols has a career record of 80-31.

Chris Hawkins recently committed to Memphis while DeVante Jones said yes to Middle Tennessee State earlier this fall.
Recently three more players have decided on there future at Southwest Tennessee State Community College.
Charles Waters a high motor athlete who loves to attack the glass has committed to Arkansas State University according to Nichols. Nichols, a former junior college player at Walters State Community College, played his college ball at Arkansas State University.
Jerron Washington and Andre Brown both have committed to University of Arkansas-Little Rock according to Nichols. Both players recently visited the campus on October 12, 2013.
Washington, a small forward, is a strong and athletic guard who's fierce when attacking the basket.
Brown is a very versatile 6-foot-6 player who can score the ball in many ways according to Nichols. Brown averaged 3.9 ppg last season at Motlow State College.
The Saluqis are looking to make that next step to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson. Nichols guided Motlow State College to the NJCAA National Tourney last season.
