Lightning strikes twice

The Trojans of Troy University in Dothan, A.L. struck again with the junior college ranks. The Trojans have landed Ray Chambers of Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, O.H. for this coming 2011-2012 season.

"I really like Troy, the campus was nice and clean with a new arena in the process for when I turn a senior. I feel like I can help Troy University into a winning season and get a good degree when my two years is done," said Chambers.
Chambers a forward averaged 19.3 points and 11.8 rebounds per game while shooting 56.8 percent (277-487) from the floor for the Lakers.
The Lakers made it to the NJCAA National D2 Tourney this past March in Danville, I.L. The Lakers lost their first game to eventual back-to-back national champion Lincoln College 94-72 and bounced back with a 2-2 record and 8th place finish.
Chambers started his college career at Cowley College in Arkansas City, K.S. Chambers hails from Cincinnati, O.H.
