"Jerrold Brooks is going to the University of Southern Mississippi," said Casper College assistant coach Dan Russell. Brooks got eligible at Casper College after transferring in from the College of Southern Idaho.

The Rochester, N.Y. native averaged 15.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists this season for the T-Birds. Brooks is ranked No. 46 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150.
Brooks will join forces with Seward County Community College player Daveon Boardingham in Conference USA this fall.
