Lincoln Getting Ahead this Summer

Curtis Lincoln, the quick and athletic 6-0 combo guard from North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, Id., is currently enrolled in summer school at the junior college.
NIC Head Coach Hugh Watson told JUCO Junction that Lincoln is taking 15 hours this summer so that he can get ahead of game academically.

A number of mid to high major programs have expressed early interest in Lincoln, who hails from Portland, Ore.
Watson said that Colorado, Gonzaga, Utah State and Montana are among the early suitors with Lincoln.
Lincoln had a nice freshman year for the Cardinals, averaging 16.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. He led the team in scoring, which isn't surprising since he can get to the basket and has a scorer's mentality.
Lincoln must continue to improve his shooting and play-making skills. He shot just 44 percent from the field overall, 29 percent beyond the arc and 57 percent from the foul line. His quickness and athleticism are his biggest assets.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on Lincoln and other top sophs in the JC Class of 2004. Stay tuned.
