Lions duo roaring

Back court mates and both hailing from the same hometown two players are making a lot of noise in the Jayhawk State this coming season. Read more about these players right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news JucoJunction.
Thaddeus Rideau and Wendell Pierre both are teammates at Brown Mackie College in Salina, Kan. The Lions are coached by longtime boss at the school Francis Flax.

The Lions are currently 16-2 on the season and the duo of Rideau and and Pierre are leading theway. Both players hail from Port Arthur, Tex.
Rideau, a 23 year-old-sophomore, is currently averaging 21.7 points and 4.9 rebounds this season while shooting 50 percent (137-272) from the floor and 39 percent (47-121) from 3-point range.
"Thaddeus can really get the ball to the basket and score it," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Pierre a point guard is a vocal leader on and off the floor according to Flax. Pierre is averaging 12.1 points, 6 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game this season for the Lions. "Wendell is really quick end to end and has great court awareness on the floor," said Swanson.
Pierre is ranked No. 138 in the 2013 JucoJunction Top 150.
The Lions are looking to make a trip to the NJCAA D2 National Tourney in Danville, Ill., this coming March.
