The Indians need to finish in the top two to advance to the State Tourney in March which is on their home floor. Chipola has been hit by an injury bug this season.
The Indians have lost two promising post players in Jason Carter and freshman Joseph Uchebo.
Carter is a transfer from the University of Alabama and is ranked No. 17 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. Carter has been offered scholarships by Long Beach State and Louisiana Tech University according to Headrick.
Uchebo is a former North Carolina State signee. He was off to a great start before being hampered with injuries. Uchebo played at Word of God in Raleigh, N.C. before landing at Chipola College this past fall.
The Indians still have time to make a move towards the top but will really have to be up for the challenge and Pensacola State College is on the docket for this coming Saturday.
