Louisiana-Monroe signs fourth juco prospect

The University of Louisiana-Monroe has been no stranger to getting junior college kids to Monroe, Lousiana this past season under head coach Orlando Early. The Warhawks struck again yesterday in getting their fourth junior college signing of the season. This signing came from the Lone Star State and JucoJunction has the latest on which player will be a Warhawk next season in this article.
Tommie Sykes has signed with Louisiana-Monroe for next season according to Odessa College assistant coach Mike Scutero.

"Tommie is a very athletic player who can really attack the rim," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Sykes, a Drexel, PA native, attended Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, PA before heading to Western Texas to play junior college basketball.
Sykes averaged 13.3 ppg, 7 rebounds and 3.1 assists this past season for the Wranglers. Sykes was rated by JucoJunction as the #90 player in the JucoJunction Top 150 this past season. Sykes made the all-conference team this past season for the Wranglers. Sykes now joins Warren Fuselier, Hugh Mingo and Fabio Ribero from the junior college ranks to play for the Warhawks next season.
