Phillip Shumpert head coach at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham, A.L. told JucoJunction today that Taaj Ridley will return to the Big Apple and play at Iona College next fall.
The Bronx, N.Y. native played at John F. Kennedy High School. Ridley took a visit to the Gaels this past weekend and walked away with a scholarship offer.
Ridley averaged 15.7 points and 8 rebounds per game for the Lions.
Ridley started his college career at Barton County Community College before surfacing at the Alabama school. Iona College plays in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
